About Tony Samara

“Live simply. Deepest joy is like a flower… Beautiful in essence.”

Tony Samara, spiritual teacher & author of over a dozen books, has been sharing deep evolutionary work and inspiring people to incorporate meditation into their daily lives for more than 25 years.

Combining meditation, detoxing the body, a plant-based diet & a simple lifestyle, he is best known for how his work touches more deeply than words.

Meditation Teacher and Mystic, Tony has been passionate about exploring life beyond words since the age of 15, when he learned meditation from a Neuroscience University research group in Norway. A few years later he joined a Zen Buddhist monastery in California, where he lived and worked with a famous Zen master for many years.

He continued his journey by traveling all over the world and learning different spiritual practices, techniques of expanding one’s consciousness and was initiated into various healing modalities by South American and Polynesian Shamans.

Traditional knowledge always felt close to him but he was equally fascinated by the findings of neuroscience, quantum physics and modern medicine and proceeded to receive a Certificate in Coaching from Cambridge University.

Combining the modern and the traditional in his work, Tony teaches with humour, humility and infinite patience, motivating and empowering each individual with courage, insight, trust and inner strength to continue on their journey in his unique retreats, online seminars, and his one-to-one individual sessions with people all over the world.

Verbal dialogue is not the essence of his teachings, but he explains in a direct and simple way that everyone can understand, how each individual can practically integrate greater acceptance, peace and joy into their daily lives.

At the core of Tony Samara’s teachings lies the evolution of human consciousness, which in today’s world is vital for achieving deep, personal happiness, inner peace and the illumination of one’s inner quest.

Who am I?

Some people consider me to be an enigma – someone mysterious, puzzling or difficult to understand, yet in reality, what I am is a very happy human being.

This wasn’t always the case, as in my childhood I asked the question what is the meaning of life and I could not find any real answer.

Today I feel complete and able to look at the world in a way that is impossible to put in simple words. Perhaps the best description would be that the quantity of love within me has been so magnified that there can be nothing but happiness.

Why did I undertake this journey?

It was impossible for me to not come to a heartfelt understanding of what is truly going on inside of me, around and beyond me, on my personal quest to self-realisation. Such self-realisation and inner knowledge can sometimes be scary as it means we have to leave behind a lot of what we think makes us happy so that we can discover what makes us more complete and truly happy.

Every human being is afraid of pain but as Rumi said the wound is the place where love comes in. Love is to be shared and not kept hidden under a plaster.
